Angel Rocha Palmeri
Angel, a native of Santa Cruz, has been dancing since the age of 2. As a child, she won the Royalty Miss Pageant in elementary school and starred in several musical theatre productions for the Children’s Musical Theatre in middle school. Angel also danced competitively on a salsa dance team from San Jose, kicking off 12 years of competitive dance training. Before graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in 2010, Angel was part of the National Championship winning dance team, The Convertibles. Angel auditioned for BDC when she was 17 and both starred in and choreographed for Bliss Dance Company’s original production, Fashion Provoked(2011). She has trained with studios throughout the Bay Area, including Nena Dean Dancers, Dance Attack, Dance Craze, Infinity, and Motion Pacific Dance. Her greatest dance inspiration is her mother. Angel currently runs a dance program for California Sports Center at their Great Oaks location. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and dancing.
