Marissa Madan started dancing the age of 3 with the City of Fremont. She later switched to dance with the City of Newark's Betty Gentry Dance Program where she learned tap, jazz, ballet, and contemporary. These two programs helped her realize performing is her passion and how much joy dancing brought to her life. When she was 11 she also discovered her love for singing and at the age of 13, she found her love for acting after being in her first musical. Some of her favorite musical credits include: Chicago (June), Miss Saigon (Ellen), and In the Heights (Camila). Marissa is currently a Theatre Arts major at Ohlone College and eventually plans to earn a B.A. in Musical Theatre. At Ohlone, she has had the privilege to explore and expand on her love of contemporary dance through the guidance of Cassie Begley and is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Bliss Dance Company.
