Miranda Kanowsky started taking dance classes at the age of 4. She joined Jazz N Taps dance studio’s competitive dance team at the age of 8, where she practiced a variety of styles such as ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theater. When she was a senior at Foothill High School, she also joined the school’s dance team where she performed jazz/hip hop dances at school events. At the age of 18, Miranda attended Columbia College Chicago where she studied American Sign Language and became one of the choreographers for the school’s dance team. Two years later, she is now back in California studying Dance and Early Childhood Education at Ohlone College. She currently works as a ballet teacher for Tutu School in Pleasanton and as a yoga Instructor for Grace + Zen.
