Miranda Kanowsky

Miranda Kanowsky is the Assistant to the Aristic Director in Bliss Dance Company. Miranda started taking dance classes at the age of 3 at Jazz N Taps dance studio in Pleasanton, CA. Miranda joined the competitive dance team at the age of 8 where she trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theater. When she was a senior at Foothill High School, Miranda joined the school’s dance team and performed jazz and hip hop dances at school events. Miranda studied American Sign Language at Columbia College Chicago and became one of the choreographers for the school’s dance team. Two years later, Miranda moved back to California to study dance at Ohlone College. This May, Miranda will receive her Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Theatre and Dance. She is currently teaching dance at Tutu School, Grace + Zen, and 4Ever Dance Studio. Miranda will be transferring in the Fall to CSU Fullerton to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Dance.
