Moriah OliphantMoriah Oliphant started dancing ballet when she was 8 years old and continued throughout high school and college at San Jose State University. Throughout her childhood, Moriah performed in the Spring Dance Concert, an annual dance show in Fort Bragg, CA. While attending San Jose State University, she studied ballet from Gary Masters and modern dance from Heather Cooper. She worked as the Lead House Manager of the Dance Department where she managed all of the university’s dance performances. After graduating San Jose State University, she took 6 years off dancing and focused on yoga, swimming, and pursuing a career in psychology. Moriah is currently studying American Sign Language at Ohlone College. This is Moriah’s second season with Bliss Dance Company.
